Ooooo, you could serve me drinks all night and I could imagine I was in stringfellows :D

Infact, we could invite David. round, and he could pretend to be Peter ;)

hahaha, believe me, it looks nothing like the bunny suits you're probably imagining! :D

And it sounds like you'll be wearing a cat one, and i'll be bringing you a saucer of milk...miaaaooow! :rotfl:

    And I'm home again!

Ah well, least my car isn't running on fresh air anymore :rotfl:

I do like a dash to T's, had almost forgotten how much fun it is :D
Shame it didn't work in our favour though.

    Next time ;)

I guess this won't work on an online order either then. Shame.

    Thank you for trying!

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

Thanks guys:beer: I guess I should have challenged it but after waiting so long I chickened it. I did feel though as thou she was putting the onus on me to check the barcode and thus it was my fault I picked up the wrong one which I know I didn't as here were loads in the same place next tot he label. I will email CS and see where I get and then maybe try one of the other stores and be braver to challenge in future.

Never done the dtd before so bottled it but I do love lamb so may try again :D

Fair play to you...i've not done one yet either, and let myself be put off trying today, but you (and others who've replied to you) have convinced me to get on it tomoro

Good girl for not giving up- that was your trial run:D Next time just be as cold as ice and go there with the intention of a DTD because you were overcharged. It is your right. Leave with nothing less.

and go with the cs person when they go check.. Tried fobbing hubby off yesterday with a diff sel ticket.. He'd took a photo :) so got the DTD

  • I had DTD on some sanitary towels that were priced £1 this week and went through the till at £1.55 with no problem.

On the same shop I bought celery and Tesco Just wild Rocket which according to a yellow label by the celery was on offer buy 2 for £1. CS were not having that, couple of CS people confered about it and then said that it was the wrong product because the SEL said 2 for £1 celery Fresh and Naked, Just Wild Rocket, Baby Leaf and a few other things that were in the offer.

They claimed that they would honour the offer but that it was fresh and naked just wild rocket(There is no such product, there is Fresh and Naked salads and Tesco Just Wild Rocket) so no DTD.

I had to leave because the free bus was about to go and otherwise I would have had to wait an hour for the next one. I told them that they were wrong but I hadn't got the time to argue because of my bus.

Talked to CS when I got home, explained that they had been very polite but that they were in the wrong, they agreed and are going to send me a Gift Card (Didn't say how much for but ebven if it's only for the 89p I should have got extra it's a result!

  • Just to let you guys who are enduring the bingo on TCB know you should do the bgo site. I have done on mine and DH account, deposited £10 on each and played through that and the bonus. Noticed that once you get low on cash you start to win also trick is to max bet in the fairy delight room so buy 48 cards at 5p each. You should be able to get a few wins which will then allow you to carry on playing to get through the waging limit. As soon as you reach that any money left in the bonus pot transfers to your cash and can be withdrawn. Do not however deposit more than £10 if you don't win but for our 2 accounts I have withdrawn £97 and £77 on top of the £20.20 cash back through TCB which has tracked already. Worth a punt if you can stand the boredom and no risk so long as you only deposit the minimum £10. I used to do a lot of online bingo and this site is fairly new I think so the winnings are quite high for the number of people playing in this room. Good luck
