Thank you, I have been on the waiting list with these teams for almost 2 years but no nearer the top of the list because there is always someone worse off than me. I self referred myself to another local counselling service but am totally unsure of how that one works so will wait and see.
Absolutely bloody shocking. If you have their phone number call them and tell them how low you feel. Back to gp and see if he/she can give them a push. 2 years is an unfunny joke. Do not put up with the "people worse than you". Im pretty sure there were people worse than me when I went too....well I paid my tax/ni and I believe I am as entitled to treatment as ANYONE else and so are YOU.
The worst thing about being in your situation is loosing the ability to fight/stand up for yourself (well it was for me anyway). and yet that is what you are having to do just to get the help you need/deserve.
So to recap....Back to GP to badger the life out of them regarding treatment. Phone the place directly badger them too - tell them on the phone of how you feel at your lowest/worst days...don't be shy they will have seen it and heard it all before. If you don't feel upto fighting for your own rights then either enlist the help of a friend or even social services (Im not sure which department but im sure someone there would be able to help).
Just as a reference i think I had to wait approx 6 weeks and half my bloody town are "depressed" lol. g

Just back from Tosco, no Finest coupons and no mags to be seen. We get through mountains of cheap tomatoes (we have 6 children and pasta and homemade tomato sauce is a very cheap dinner for us) so I could really do with some of those vouchers. Will keep looking.
However, I did get a 6 pack of whoopsied Finest honey and mustard sausages. Only down to £1.79 which would not normally be cheap enough for me but I had a £1 off coupon from last weeks mailing. It was for a 10 pack or a 12 pack but the SA took it OK. Really looking forward to sausages and chips for tea now.
Also, the Chokabloks three packs of ice creams are RTC at £1.37, not as good as the recent £1 offer but OK if you have some coupons to use up. Quite a bit of other RTC frozen bits but mostly empty shelves in my store. Looks like I was too slow. Did grab some RTC frozen parathas which are lovely bread to have with a curry. A 6 pack for 40p in the 'World Foods' frozen section.

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!
