Glass guide has it down as a manual gearbox - now I'm confused?0

Not sure what you mean. The seller has the advert details wrong so it is listed as a manual. If you put the reg into the DVLA check site then it comes back as an automatic - co2 of 174, 12 month tax of £195.
The 155 co2 figure quoted on Autotrader is for the manual but thats based on the seller picking the wrong details.0 -

webuyanycar.com also lists it as a manual.
The DVLA website is correct but the only way to be sure would be to check the v5 and do the usual HPI checks, etc.
What happens if you run it through a few dummy insurance quotes?0 -
Compare The Market = Manual
MoneySupermarket = Manual
This is well weird.0 -
If they all use the same 3rd party database (presumably autotrader does as well) then it looks like there is an error as I think autotrader works off the registration to make the process easier.
Have you called the dealer and asked what it has listed on the V5C?0 -
They will all be using a duff database - better known as the DVLA.
We used to have S60's that were SE's but the DVLA listed them as S.
Lost track of the number of A4/Passat 1.8Turbo petrols that were listed as HEAVY OIL at Swansea..
Anyway, The S80 diesel auto isnt as good on fuel as the manual one.
Have a look for a 4.4V8 - you will be impressed with the MPG.
Like for like, the 2.4D will be an extra £6000 to buy - over 3 years that means you can spend £2000 on fuel for the V8.

Yes, you can keep telling yourself what a bargain it is every year when you hand over £475 for the road tax then wonder why its so hard to sell on afterwardsharveybobbles wrote: »Have a look for a 4.4V8 - you will be impressed with the MPG.
