    Hi

I have enjoyed reading your journey so far. I'll follow you on your MFW travels!

    Kind regards

  • Good news this morning is that OH has just been told that his expenses have been miscalculated and that over the last 15 months he has been underpaid by £1295. No wonder I felt like I was always subbing him!!

Once he gets it back, we'll save it in our fun fund so that'll be October's holiday paid off in full already.

I'm also due £825 from the Tuesday job I do each week. Not been paid since Dec 31st!! Another great savings scheme! That's basically a full month of my savings challenge plus a little bit.
What fantastic news about the expenses - I will do a few star jumps to celebrate :j:j:j

    Morning all,

The last Direct Debits for the month have left my bill account and the standing order for next month has transferred across, so I've done a Super Tilly Tidy Deluxe of £15.22 to bring the account down to a round £1400 ready for June.

This gives me £742 towards my £755 savings target for May, a shortfall of £13. Should be able to cover that by Friday!!

Then we'll start all over again!!!

Feeling good about this. It's helped me to stop feeling negative about being ill with this cold and having a couple of really busy days to get through.

Yay, I did it! I actually saved £804 in May, beating my target by £49!!
Resetting for June - another £750 save towards being car finance and credit card debt free - then a snowball onto the mortgage.

Another £39 overpayment on the mortgage today too.

    And the sun is shining!!
    Happy days!
