    Surely the first "innocent buyer" would have received good title as per CCA so all sales after that would have been OK.

    I suspect the OP's problem is that the risk marker which was valid when applied can only be removed by negotiation (£££) with the firm who applied it.

    thanks for everyone that has chipped in with advice so far, will give experian a call on monday and see what they say. (already tried but are only available mon - fri). and try the dealer i bought it from again.

    it's actually worth £2.75 ratboy and a bargain at that! are u sure u dont want it as a little run around? :)
