I personally think that these 'loop holes' are ridiculous.
The signs are perfectly legible and understandable. To be unenforceable just because the font used hasn't been approved is a joke.
Oh well, more unnecessary money wasted on expensive lawyers and appeals.0 -

Lets turn it around, you try telling the police it is a joke if you use a non-standard but perfectly legible font on your number plate and you are stopped and fined, see how far you get with that argument.0 -

They maybe legible but that's not the issue is it?
They are there to reduce the speed limit and whether we like it or not the rta dictates the size and font of the numbers. If they don't comply why should they be enforceable?0 -
