He'll get the conviction over turned.

He hasn't been prosecuted for exceeding the nsl and time was up for that at the end of October.

Can you give me tonight's lottery numbers as well?

    Another tilt fail.

Please read the first line of my post (#9). You may come across the word OPINION. Are we not entitled to those on here now. Look it up in the dictionary.

So in your opinion what's the legal statement to reduce his sentence?

Can you two stop turning all these threads into your own private slanging matches and trying to prove who has the biggest ****.

    As for the original post.

I personally think that these 'loop holes' are ridiculous.

The signs are perfectly legible and understandable. To be unenforceable just because the font used hasn't been approved is a joke.

Oh well, more unnecessary money wasted on expensive lawyers and appeals.

There will only be public money wasted if the crown fight it.

80 in a 50 limit could lead to a dangerous driving charge where the signs would be irrelavant

Lets turn it around, you try telling the police it is a joke if you use a non-standard but perfectly legible font on your number plate and you are stopped and fined, see how far you get with that argument.

They maybe legible but that's not the issue is it?

They are there to reduce the speed limit and whether we like it or not the rta dictates the size and font of the numbers. If they don't comply why should they be enforceable?

This is what I was saying.... but it's just an opinion. I thought we were entitled to them.

Some number plates are deliberately altered though to represent something else. But I know where you are coming from.
