OH has an LG phone,every 2 mins 24 hrs a day, she gets a txt from google saying"google talk failed to sign in"
the app is called "talk"
ive looked at the file and it say it cant be deleted, when you try to use the app it just sits their saying signing in and nowt happens,

But you should be able to disable it.
Settings > Apps, click on Talk, and and then click on 'Disable'. Your problem should then be resolved. :jDavid.0
