    It looks much more like the ivy roots are breaking through the wall of the box rather than appearing from the drain itself, at worst I'd say it's a rebuild of the brickwork and removal of the crappy Ivy.

    Contrary to general opinion Ivy doesn't start to damage sound brickwork, but it will find any nook and cranny and burst the joints wide apart.

    And anyway KS, I didn't want to call Iwanna's ideas daft,;););)I usually get the ones that don't exactly take kindly to that.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
