Albertross, what you say is correct - apart from the last bit, the number you give for the config screen? The instructions I've been given tell me to go to 168.192.11.1 - which is what was working previously but no longer is.0

ok sorry, do you mean 192.168.x.xEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Oops sorry yes I did mean that.0

try
start, run, cmd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /all >c:\1.txt
notepad c:\1.txt

Sorry, I misunderstood. Your connection is working via cable but not by wifi? If yes, disregard my previous comment. You probably didn't setup wifi properly, that's all. So connect back by cable, and make sure you set and write down the wireless settings of the router (e.g. WPA protection and password), and then use that in the wifi connection settings.0

Thanks CriCri - have been trying to set that up but now can't even get into the admin page! Hopefully albertross is well on the way to helping me but if not will try again on the weekend and follow your advice...0

Albertross - thanks for all your help so far, have seen other postings that say you're the one to sort these things out! Sor forgive me for having to go now, but people are going to bed in this room (if only my wireless was setup - but then I wouldn't need to be on here!) and are getting annoyed so must go.....hopefully you'll post some tips for me, I should be back online Saturday so will try them then. Thanks again0

Currently the router is on, the main green power light is on as is the green bridging light, and the wireless 'g' is flashing green.

Does this mean that the router is being used as a bridge instead of a DHCP server. Maybe reseting it to factory settings would resolve this.0
