    I agreed to an hourly rate of £7 for this particular job, not £6.24.

    The bold bit I quoted above from the solicitor's website I found also says they can't do what they're doing:

    Your employer cannot include an amount for holiday pay in your hourly rate (called 'rolled-up holiday pay')

    You need to show that you were quoted £7/hour. Do you have that in writing from them?


    This is where I think Ntech/Wild are in the wrong. The guy I spoke to at Ntech today said that that's exactly what they do. The £7/hr includes my holiday pay.

    I am of course accepting that what this employment solicitor has written is accurate.

    I've still got the email they sent me, the relevant part being:

    04.03.13 Monday – 14.30 – 22.00
    05.03.13 Tuesday – 14.30 – 22.00
    06.03.13 Wednesday – 14.30 – 22.00
    07.03.13 Thursday – 14.30 – 22.00
    08.03.13 Friday – 14.30 – 22.00
    09.03.13 Saturday – 14.30 – 22.00
    10.03.13 Sunday – 14.30 – 22.00
    11.03.13 Monday – 14.30 – 22.00
    12.03.13 Tuesday – 14.30 – 22.00

    Above are the shifts confirmed if we do need additional people I will be in touch.

    Hourly rate is £7.00 for 07.00 – 22.00 Monday to Friday and £8.00 for 07.00 – 22.00 on the weekends
