HMV 2 for 1 on Blue Cross sale

So, we all got the email. But is this actually happening?
I note that on HotUKDeals it has been flagged up as spam. Another site is saying that HMV will be having one of their buy one get one free (after we have increased the prices the day before) sales, no mention of it being the Blue Cross stuff. Another site is saying that there may be a sale, but only in selected stores.....
Can anyone confirm that this is on and is it still set to start tomorrow?
Thanks

my local (sheffield) had removed all sign of the blue cross sales when i went in today and everything was back as expensive as before they went into administration (can anyone see where this will end?)loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0

I popped into mine today...first time since administration. Lots f blue cross stock, staff getting more out, asked what the blue crosses were for, and he confirmed BOGOF on them as of tomorrow. About a third of the store was blue crossed - both in the defined area, and within genres0

local store have 'few days left' signs up and selling fittings. it depends on the area. i used to work at HMV and friends still there are saying they havent been told anything/ the sign in the window was a shock for them. but it will vary on the place and when the rent is due on the location. most likely will start with the BOGOF on blue cross the more desperate they get.Full-time Mum, Part-time freebie hunter0

So is this only on stores that have been confirmed to close down? The two stores near me are staying open (at least were not in either of the two announcements of closure) and both lost their blue cross signs some time in the last couple of weeks.0

Mine not on the list or closure...Plymouth...and we have BOGOF. The list of closures given by the administrators was posted on here a while ago, as part of the HMV info0

Rents tend to be quarterly, so rent is due 31st March. So if stores are closing, theyl will be moving out in the next 2 weeks...--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0
