I have no idea why it was changed. It was only that I logged in to put the readings in that I noticed it. It was not a message - it had just changed on the account details page. When I rang them she said the DD was even more than what I was seeing online but did put it back down to the original amount.
She said we had used less electricity - again I dont understand how she would know this as I cant see what that is based on.

The supplier licence says they have to send a meter reader. The card is left as you were not at home when they called. If you plan to be at home when they call again, then you can let them in and allow them to read the meter. Otherwise fill in the card. Otherwise they might keep calling in an attempt to obtain a meter reading.I understand they do need to come round and take meter readings but seemed ironic they came a day or so after my call. Seems pointless asking me to fill the card in for them though - I thought the idea was that THEY had to read it themselves every so often0
