Hey everyone
Another busy week here, got a couple of sets of reports to write and coursework to mark - counting down to May and the year 11s leaving at the moment, my whole week gets easier after that happens!
Got some tidying up to do after work today, and the dinner too - some leftovers involved, which is always good, but I'm having a go at making tortilla's from scratch tonight.... It can't be *that* difficult, the kids at school have managed itAlso prepping dinner for tomorrow night, as both me and the boyfriend will be finising late so I'll leave the slow cooker on. Bit of prep to do for work after that, then I can sleep, yay!

Hi all, quick post before I leave for the horse-piddle.:D
Hoppy Birdday Bitsy:beer:
Halight will you PLEASE rest your poor wrists, else I'm going to come over and tie your hands behind your back so that you CAN'T do anything with them!!
Re radio: I don't bother with it, as I'm too deaf to really get the benefit of talk shows, and on music channels, the presenters do my head in. Mr LW likes Classic FM on in the mornings while he's getting ready for work.
Gotta go, the Pain Clinic awaits!:eek::eek::eek::eek:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Happy birthday Bitsy
I hope that is a good one x . Enjoy a drink or three tonight
Went shopping today in Aldi and spent way too much, but I did get 2 turkey crowns for £7.99 each so one for Easter and one for Christmas. I also got a few things to put away for birthday pressies, 3 chickens reduced to £1.91 each, de-icer for 69p a tin and 5L of screen wash for £1.99.
Had a surprise with the water rates, it seems that I am £70 in credit wahay :jBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Happy birthday Bitsy!!Halight - I love Radio 4 it is like a comforting friend - especially at night x
Not much going on Chez Rage today - which frankly is nice. Went to the hairdressers - my bi-monthly routine - and caught up on all the gossip, ahem, "information gathering" regarding the area; new shops, new eateries etc. Showed them my article in Classic Pop mag which impressed them all..... I'm such a star :rotfl: Got an Easter card from my friend in the States - I am woefully behind on my "month of letters" challenge. At this rate it's going to be a year of a month of letters..... Did get a charity shop find though. As you know Mr Rage doesn't like me going in them BUT passing one window (we have loads here) I saw two items of Denby in our pattern for £3.50 the pair, a small bowl and a small jug. They now live in my kitchen! Bargain! Nothing planned for tonight at all - maybe just some sewing as I have treated myself to a pork pie from the grocers - their own made - and will have that for dinner. Mr Rage is at football tonight so yummy!!! Got my c/c bill as well and very pleased that that is going down. Will overpay again this month and it'll soon be off.....well, as long as we stop buying event tickets :rotfl: Have a nice night everyone!!But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Evening all,
Such a busy day, my first chance to post.
Happy Birthday Bitsy have. Good one:beer:
Have spent the day looking after DGS who is gorgeous, and at a lovely age, almost four but gosh I'm exhausted. It's a long time since I had a little one all day and you completely forget how tiring they are. How people have children in there 40's I have no idea. Thank goodness I had my four when I was younger and much more energetic. We had great fun making Easter cup cakes with little chocolate eggs in bird nests on top.:D
My dd came for tea and then we dropped them home. Ds2 and his gf also had tea along with ds3 and then every one has disappeared off to different places, leaving dh and I thoroughly enjoying the peace.
My dh is a radio fanatic, we have one in every room including the garage. He mainly listens to radio 4 and radio 4 extra, but Radio 5 live if there is any football on. We both enjoy Danny Baker on Five live on Saturday morning and I listen to radio 2 every morning, I enjoy Chris Evans show. I enjoy tv too but dh is pretty much a radio only person and only watches something on tv if her really really fancies it, usually something sciency.
So hoping for a quiet weekend and some gardening weather permitting. Looking forward to a quieter day tomorrow. Have a good evening. XStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Happy Birthday Bitsy, hope you've had a good day.
LW hope you got on ok at the pain clinic.
Hillstep, glad you're not suffering any aches and pains after your fall.
Had a bit of a sort out in the big freezer as DS wants some turkey next week for his dinners at work(lunch) and it was all in the bottom.Found a third of a cheese pie so I had that, and let DS1 have some too.It was very tasty,I got it at our food festival ages ago.
We had chicken in BBQ sauce for tea,and I've had a ham shank in the slow cooker all day.Just stripped the meat off,and will make ham and sweetcorn chowder tomorrow.
Been decluttering old mags into the recycling bin,and some other stuff too, trouble is it always looks messier when I've done cos I usually run out of time :rotfl:2 loads of washing done too,not dried outside though as its been raining.
I usually like peace and quiet at home, but I've had R2 on today, used to listen to R4 a lot at one time. Also listen to the local station when our footie team are awayNight all x
