Hi
I have been stoozing for just over a year and have just come to the end of a 0% promotional rate and paid off the outstanding balance.
So, my current position is I have 1 "in use" credit card which was a 0% balance transfer card with a credit limit of around £9,000 and has a current balance of around £4,500 and I pay off the minimum amount every month. This is the only debt I have.
I paid off my other two credit cards and cancelled them around 2 weeks ago. If I apply for a new 0% purchases credit card now will the credit history check be up to date and therefore show my immediate position, or is the information on the credit history a few weeks out of date?
I have a good income, no mortgage and healthy savings, so know of no other reason that may affect my credit card application.
Thanks in anticipation

Credit Reference Agencies do tend to run a statement in arrears. I.e. your jan/feb statement will be on your credit report now.
However updating as closed accounts, in my case, has always shown from a few days after the closure letter has been received from the company.
A note, no-one can see or really cares about your savings, so I wouldn't count these into your situation. They simply look at Debt Vs. Income Vs. affordability in most cases.0
