I have a look at the letter before I pay anything to the Royal Mail! If it's important I pay for it, if it's junk then I say to the to destroy it.
Same here. When a friend got mail without a stamp a while back (also from a nightclub, funnily enough) & then found out it was stuff she didn't need/want, she contacted them asking for a refund. When they refused, she said nothing, but collected the dog's doings, fashioned them into a number 24, then sent it with underpaid postage to them, printing on the outside "Congratulations on winning this award!" They'll have got stuck with the postage because they won't have been able to resist opening it. :D

Haha thanks so much for all your replies!

DD your post made me laugh - my boyfriend actually suggested a similar sort of attack but being a pacifist I have decided to just send a very heavy package to them! Obv this is a money saving package - reusing a massive envalope and sending them free local newspapers! Its quite weighty now and I really hope they realise that its a revenge attack!

    How very dare they!

I suspect that the person you spoke to was not the manager and I would like to hope that he would be horrified that his staff spoke to you like that! I would write to him, marked 'Personal', so no-one else opens it and complain about the service you have received on both occasions. I think it is worth sending a letter, just to put your annoyance down in writing and you never know what you'll get in return! Hopefully free entry and free drinks!

Don't forget the stamp :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
