Hi everyone
Now being a money saver I was not happy this morning when I recieved a letter without a stamp and had to pay for it - it was only £1.24 but still!!
It was from a local nightclub who have my details on their system. I called them to explain what had happen and to see if they would refund me the money as it was their mistake and the guy said I could "stick it up my ****"!!
I couldnt believe it - so my question is, is there anything I can do? Surely they cant treat people this way and get away with it?
Any help gratefully recieved!

I would send them a A4 size envelope with an old newspaper inside to add a bit of weight to it, mark it urgent fao general manager and neglect to put a stamp on it when you post it0

Good idea Bluesunshine - was going to suggest that myself!!!!
Would also phone them and ask them to take you off their mailing list!!!!0 -
Lol! Like it! Maybe add a brick or something equally as weightyEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0

I agree with blue sunshine especially as i was a company.
I was posted something from someone on an ebay forum once which was heavier than the 2nd class stamp and had to pay £1.24 too. I'm sure she would have been horrified had she known but it's different from a company.Love living in a village in the country side0 -
got any shredding you can add? to make sure the brick is nicely packed?

This has happened to me before! Had to pay a pound for the privilidge of getting crap from a night club that i never go too! Was not impressed had to go all the way to the post office for this!!In debt no more!0

Or you could not have accepted the letter in the first place. If it was important then they soon would have written to you again. The postman would then have just taken the letter away with him - no charge to you! When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0

Go to the nightclub one night, then set the fire alarm off when it's full."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
