Its flyering time of year again!

Options
Right I havn't posted in a while so thought i would post what i do when im skint, or have just lost alot of money! or need to loose a bit of weight!

This method isnt new by any means but sure as hell beats filling in surveys (why on earth you would do this i do not know).

Anyway the whole premise of this is getting affiliate offers printed on flyers and delivering them door to door, (you could even outsource this, child labour has its advantages, il explain later).

I call this flyering time of year as we are soon to be reaching the end of march start of april payday people have mostly paid off christmass and they have a few quid in their pocket.

To be honest 30th Dec to the 4th Jan is also exceptionally lucrative with the new years resoultion brigade, think trail offers for african melon / acai berry and $30 commission etc etc anyway I digress.

Anyway People have money in there pocket and what better way to spend it than online bingo! (seriously guys Bingo is the hardest online niche to get into its even more competitive than payday loans! hence why every other ad on tv is for bingo) and the affiliate commison is Huge!! (think £60+ for every new player who makes a £10 deposit)

and casinos are also decent commission anyway for online casinos i prefer Rev share, this means you get 10% or whatever of the users loses or the casinos gains whatever you want to call it. Every so often you will hit a gambling addict, one person on my affiliate list makes me a straight £200 a month every month for the last 15 months! gold mine!

Ok so to put this blunty we will have someone design us a 2 sided flyer on fivver, we will then send the designs to a print company on ebay and order 5000 a5 double sided flyers, (there seems to be a price war on the leaflet trade in ebay) you can pick up 5k of a5 flyers for under £60 but your better off getting a higher paper quality (gsm).

now the delivery part and the child labour! do you get a free local paper handed out by some school kid in the evening? well for the next part your going to have to wait for him / her (not in a jimmy saville kinda way).

offer them a deal,

tell them if they put a leaflet through each door they do a delivery at you will give them an extra £25 a month explain that its no extra work for them and just easy money.

most of them will do it without screwing you over, of course you will be able to weed out the ones who are because you will be tracking them il explain this later.

alternativly you can offer them a commission structure for every person who completes it you will give them £10 at the end of the month, (remember this bingo offer is paying your £60+ so youv'e still made £50 profit) tell them that you will be able to track if they fill in the form themselves repeatdly and wont pay them anything if you catch them doing it!

Alternativly you can go out yourself and deliver the 5k of leaflets, (i advise doing this at the start as you will find out how well the offer converts. (you should be able to deliver 5k of flyers in 2 -3 days if your determind).

anyway a bit more about the flyers.

at the top of the flyer i will put the brand of the casino / bingo I will then put the offer in the middle, most offer £30 free when you put £10 in so i will say something like "exclusive bingo offer for those living in birmingham" , at the bottom i put a domain in. for a domain i use a local deal domain.

so for instance if i was in birmingham i may have the domain brum-bargains.co.uk and with each offer i will create a sub domain, so

bingobrand.brum-bargiains.co.uk casinobrand.brum-bargains.co.uk

and then for tracking i will use a different redirect page for each area / leaflet delivery person. so for instance
bingobrand.brum-bargains.co.uk/12345

each page will have its own redirect link to the affiliate page with a sub affiliate tracking number on it. what i also tend to do is put google analytics on it before it redirects this way i can check to see if the hits number on the affiliate program and analytics add up!

so that i dont have to get 5k of each webpage printed out i leave a blank spot and use a rubber stamp an ink, (hence why the numbers) so i can stamp each page url ending.

so we've spent:
£5 on a domain,
£0.01 on hosting (using an offer)
£60 on getting the 5k leaflets printed and delivered
£7 approx on fiverr getting them designed (depends on the exchange rate)
£12 on a rubber stamp and ink

So £84 in costs

with an offer making you £60 per sale we only need 2 sales to go into the black (more if you are paying people to deliver)

How much can be made, well when i did it this time last year i got 27 sales for a bingo offer on 5000 flyers and quite a bit more in rev share (which is still bring me money in to this day).

if you put the effort in its really is worthwhile!

I need to go out now, I'l come back and correct mistakes later!

and yes you will need to pay tax on your earnings, but your mostly dealing with american companies (based in tax havens as online gambling is illegal in the us) who quite frankly couldnt give a !!!! about your tax commitments so the enthasis is on you!

    You're just delightful, aren't you?

I don't know, sounds like a good idea to me.

I think the addict comment was being a bit flippant rather than serious. Gambling is legal, booze is legal, food is legal, sex is legal, chocolate is legal, the fact that there is a small minority of people who will become addicted to something isn't really the sellers/promoters fault. I'm sure there are people who get addicted to potatoes. All of those are bad for you in excess. Maybe not the sex. You get what I mean.

Double the flyers with Facebook/Twitter pages and you've even more chance of earning potential.

Sod it, I am going to give it a go.

Well it does if you ignore this bit
(seriously guys Bingo is the hardest online niche to get into its even more competitive than payday loans! hence why every other ad on tv is for bingo)

Anyone who want's to play online bingo is probably already a member of the site you send them to, so you get nothing.

That's assuming they even bother to read the flyer in the first place!

The problem with this is finding a kid who has a paper round that is 5000 papers a week!

geordie joe, people go ad blind to the tv!
whatch a program and then try and remember the ad's in the last quarter ad break?

your using two key strategies here, one its local, people trust things which are local and relevant to them.

people have a detachment to email spam because they only check there emails every so often and can ignore any spam.

a text message however people have there phone on them most of the time and pretty much have to read the text message.

by putting a flyer through someones door you are entering there personal space and even if they are going to chuck it in the bin they will still have a look at it.

by mentioning an area local to them you will gain there attention birmingham was probably a bad example as its huge but a suberb of birmingham would be better,

In my eyes facebook is a company on the downward spiral, people still use it but people go ad blind to facebook ads, if they were to increase the glariness of there ads people would use it less and less and so on.

Another trick for massive conversions if you can stand the cold and the doormen! is find out when your local bingo hall shuts and hand out the flyers to those leaving it. they may want to carry on playing bingo after the night is out and you are giving them the oppertunity!

as for the paper round thing you wont find a kid doing 5k of houses however what you can do is stamp say 200 or however many houses he / she delievers to with the sub affiliate tracking number

So one kid equals 200 flyers. You are going to need 25 kids to deliver your 5,000 flyers each month. 25 X £25 is £625 a month. Or are you just going to get the same kid to deliver all the flyers to the same 200 houses?

As for the rest of what you said, people do forget TV ads as soon as they see them, but if they want to play bingo they remember the bingo site name, and go straight to it.

As for local flyers, people still bin them without reading them. Everyone knows what is in a flyer, someone wanting to sell you something you don't want.
  • ok i admit those figures are a bit squewed as i use one lad who delivers a different flyer every week depending on what campaign iv got going, and so i pay him £25 a month and he delivers approx 900 a month.

obviously this is not worth while if your running one campagin and so you would be best off paying him / her a commission basis and they will deliver to alot more houses if they think there in the money!

the brands with the biggest advertising budgets are usally the ones paying the best commission (not always but sometimes) our physical flyer acts as a trigger mechanism.

they may bin them without reading them but when its only 2 sides im damn sure that a substantial ammount will read one side as theres only 20 odd words and your using words to draw there attention, (there local area) and free money

So, I take it you have knocked the 'escort agency' on the head then?

Along with your 'full-time domaining' and 'online reputation management services'?
  • No I do all these things bar the escort agency (it was something i looked into but havnt yet set anything up)

Im an internet marketer, if your not diverse you will end up getting unstuck!
