Orange not giving correct mac key HELP PLEASE

I decided to change from Orange phone and broadband to a cheaper option as I wasn't really using the land line and I only wanted wireless internet

I rang Orange to find out if I was still locked to in a contract I wasn't so that was a great start then its all gone down hill from there, I got issued my mac key 48 hours later I rang plus-net (new isp) and got told the code was invaild I was like WHAT so I got back on to orange and found out they issued it on my old phone number and was told my current phone number wasn't even attached to me (no wonder they could never find me on there system) so I have had to get orange to update the BT open reach database so my phone number was attached to me that took 48hrs rang them back up to get a new key, that was Friday 8th March (2013) got told the mac key is vaild and the new isp is telling porkies but seeing as the key comes from BT and plus net are BT I can't see why it wasn't vaild, so back on the old phone to orange and told them I want this sorted as its ment to be simple to change, got an email from them on Monday 11th March they have updated the phone number and its now attached to me (finally) so I rang plus net AGAIN and got told yet again that it wasn't valid turns out all they have done is update my phone number and issued the same code to me TWICE so once more back on the phone to orange got told you will be issued with a new key and could take 48hrs so here I am 48hrs later and still no key I rang them again and got told its up for review today Wednesday 13th March and no set time on it so the best advice they could tell me was to ring back tomorrow.
I have told the guy I was talking to on Monday I want to put a complaint in as this is stupid it should be simple...(orange to me) yes we can do that for you but I don't see where its going to get you (its not going to get your key any quicker) I don't care I just want to raise this issue so it can be learned from.

I also told them to get a new key issued as each phone number has a unique code attached to it (according to plus net)

So here I am a week later still trying to get my MAC key from Orange I will be ringing them tomorrow and see what they have to say

I am getting fed up with this, they are only to happy to sign u up but they won't let you go....I want to report them.

Currently I'm paying £17.75 with Orange phone and broadband and I'm going to plus net with broadband only from £5.99 a month with a 10GB limit which suits me fine I'm not a heavy user (haven't watched i player in over a year and a half!!)

On the funny side this is the most I've ever used my land line!!!:rotfl:
