Working the system
Hello there,
I'm coming to the end of my contract and have my PAC number ready to transfer my number. I was on the Student Promotion on 3 - 100mins and 1000texts a month for £20. Sounds good, but I need waaaay more than 100mins, and I have never used 1000texts in a month! My bills usually work out at about £50 from cross net minutes, and 3 has given me unbelievably poor customer service so I want to change networks. Their last line was, "it's a good deal, you're wrong to change. You won't find a better deal I'm telling you", at which I hung up.
So... any thoughts? Anyone had any amazingly good contracts for around £30p/m? I've been looking at this website that someone else on here recommended. I've never tried a cashback deal before, any good?
I really like the N95, so I was thinking of buying that privately, and then getting one of the contracts that give cashback for the full term (therefore "free"). There's one for Vodafone - 500mins and 250texts, usually £35 a month but get three lots of cash back at 6, 9 and 12 months.
It's so confusing! Can anyone help?

How many minutes do you use a month? and what is your spending range? For the N95 theres a pretty decent deal here:
http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/phonenetwork-302-1-Nokia_N95_on_Vodafone.html
The phone is free its on Vodafone Anytime 500 + 250 Text + Stop the Clock £35/Month and crucially its a 12 Month Tariff!
Ok its not a cashback contract but after 12months the deal will have cost you £420, which is how much a new N95 retails for now anyway
(I'm actually with three at the moment and quite happy with my 750mins/150 txts for what worked out at about £10p/m)SLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250
