Vodafone payg locked?

Hi
I am hoping to purchase a white Sony Ericsson W850i to use with my current O2 sim. Cheapest I've seen is on Vodafone PAYG (play.com £129), but wonder if this will be locked to Vodafone?

We have had phones from Dialaphone that were unlocked.
Total 2 contract phones and one PAYG phone.
Oddly enough a PAYG phone from carphone warehouse was locked. I didn't think it was economic for them to stock several lines - IE same phone model locked to 5 different networks. They would have to store 5 lines as opposed to 1, and it would make their business less flexible.

it will most probably be locked to voda, but pm james-73 on here and he should be able to get a code to unlock this for £10-£120
