Send it to the lender and keep a copy in case you have to go to the FOS later, this is a standard mis sell questionnaire for both the lender and the FOS.0 -
Hello there,
I am new to forums. I tried to apply for PPI with NatWest in January13 over phone - they said I had 3 credit cards with PPI and 2 loans but then kept me on the phone for 2 hours asking difficult Q's because I don't have all the info in front of me and I have been unable to work due to illness since 2009
I took early retirement but am still paying off a loan..
I had a house purchase that fell through 5 days b4 the move in 2007
I then purchased an empty property but was told NOT to change the mortgage as things would move quicker with the existing m/g agreement...when I got in the property it needed a lot of work so I had to then take a loan out for£5000 (Feb 2008).....it wasn't enough as I found damp & structural issues, so I asked for the loan to be topped up by £3,000. I was unaware until the paperwork came through, that the 1st loan with 3 payments made - had been totally repaid and the 'top up'loan was a new loan for £9000...
I feel they pulled a fast one here! also, they kept stalling me about my PPI claim in Jan 13...I rang 4 times more...they are now saying I'm not owed PPI on credit cards & loans....but have seen on here I can't go to ombudsman if over 6 months long?
I had to go to ombudsman in Aug 12 when mortgage finished and they 'LOST' deeds....I was given wrong info twice on that and sent a £50 cheque to compensate. Makes me ill! Would appreciate any advice.0 -

Woodland - you have 6 months to take your complaint to the FOS from the bank's final response on the matter - which would be in writing and would state that it is their final response.0

Not a cause for complaint, you asked for a "top up" and they consolidated your existing debt. Check the interest being charged on the new loan, you may even be paying less than you would have done otherwise.I asked for the loan to be topped up by £3,000. I was unaware until the paperwork came through, that the 1st loan with 3 payments made - had been totally repaid and the 'top up'loan was a new loan for £9000...0
