    Hashtag first world problems.

What is the point of this rather daft meme? Are you suggesting that no one should ever do anything about a problem just because there are more serious problems elsewhere? It's a pretty silly attitude.

Why don't you just get up ten minutes earlier and have something at home and therefore save yourself £10 per week? No doubt whatever you have at home will be healthier than whatever you were to buy from there anyway if you're trying to be more healthy.

Silly attitude in your opinion maybe, but for me it means I get through life with quite a positive outlook and don't get hung up on stupid things like paying an extra 0.25 for porridge, which by the way I also wouldn't view as 'a problem'.

  • The "first world problems" is indeed a pretty silly attitude and a daft meme. And one that got old pretty quick.

This has been said quite a few times recently. If the OPs problem is so trivial, then surely making a comment about it is even more trivial and you have to ask what sort of a person would waste their time commenting on a comment on something they find so unimportant.

Easy way to save money and avoid misleading prices it to take your own lunch to work.

Bloody hell people OP doesn't want to take his own lunch to work, his thread isn't about that at all. I'm guessing should he want to save some money he'd have done it already.

So sick of reading genuine gripes on here followed by a dozen comments of "Its cheaper to make your own". Yes, it probably is, but he's doing it for convenience and if he has money to spare to do that then fair enough and it's nobody else's business but theirs.
