    Ive done the paperwork for the 1st loan (which was the bigger loan luckily!); do i need to send a covering letter or just pop the questionnaire and copy of the agreement in the post?

    im going to give it a try with the 2nd one, ive got nothing to lose :)

    The questionnaire and a copy of the agreement should be all you need. Don't forget to mention single premium on the questionnaire. Send them recored delivery. Remember to take copies should your complaint need to go to FOS.
    ( Look up single premium PPI so that you are aware of what it is and why it's so bad.)

    Im a little confused.
    Am i right in thinking that both my loans had Single Premium PPI (boxes E, F, G & H) but i can probably only claim back for my 1st one as it was automatically added, and that i might not get anything for my 2nd loan as i have ticked and signed for it?

    If you were paying just one payment per month for the loan and the PPI on both loans, then yes they are both single premium.

    Your problem is that while front loading is an excellent mis-selling complaint reason you applied for it by post. This means that you mis-bought the front loaded PPI, as no bank staff actually sold it to you.

    I'd still complain about not understanding the unfair nature of the loan; with the PPI added to the loan to attract extra interest. See how you get on...
