Can i track a person's name of a cheque i personally sent?

I sent a cheque recently, and i would like proof that i sent the cheque to the said person. My bank statement and internet banking show only the cheque number, but not the name of the person i sent the cheque to.
Is there any way i can get proof of the name of the person i sent the cheque too.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
How about asking the person you sent it too
All our cheques are scanned onto the system and can be read.. But only by some staff. Not all are able to access that part of the system, as they do not need access.
You could try going into a branch and asking if they can confirm the name.
But a name does not mean that it went ot their account....
We often see cheques made out to HMRC that end up in other accounts.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0
