Is a month not really a month.

Options
For the first time I have took out a contract with Tesco, it's a blackberry phone and the 500 minutes £15 per month.
The date I took it out was 1 March this year so that is the date my contract starts. I thought that 1st of April I would start a new month along with 500 minutes starting again. However logging on to my Tesco mobile account it says the end of the month is 22nd of April. Is this correct a month is actually a month and a half approximately.

Thanks.

The monthly dates is slightly shifted from when the contract started, or you get pro rata time/charges, eg when I was with Orange the billing cycle was 22nd this month to 21st next month, but I had taken the contract out on the 28th, so the 1st bill was for the arrears and the month in advance.

The month calculated is based on a network month billing cycle, DUTR explains it best.
