This is a further big thank you to all who made suggestions, especially Mintymoneysaver whose suggestion we actually took up. What a gorgeous place to stay. It was just perfect for the two of us and we had a wonderful time.

The IOW is such a great place and we found so many interesting places to go while we were there. Am sure we'll go again.

HI you can try Shanklin, Ventnor, Nunwell House. They are good places for family type resorts.
