Company credit card - help!

Good afternoon,
I am going to be starting a new job (with a huge company) which will require me to have a company credit card.I am a current employee.
I have a very poor credit rating as defined by Experian, this is down to mistakes I have made earlier in life. I am paying off all debts and should be clear by this year end.
I am wondering if my personal credit file will be searched when the time comes for my business credit card to be issued?. Does anybody know the process for this?.
I have been looking around the web, but cant find anything that helps me!
