Question on coolnewmobile cashback
I have just started a cashback with coolnewmobile on a Vodafone contract. According to CNM site, I need to send in the bill dated 120 days after the 1st date of connection. Since Vodafone starts billing from the connection date itself (in advance), I have already received the first bill.
Going by this, does it mean that I will have to remain connected with Vodafone for the 13th month as well to get that bill for the final cashback claim (since the 13th month bill is the one that I will get after 360 days after connection) ? If this is the case then we are actually paying for a 13months to get the 12 month claim ?

use http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html to calculate the dates.
like if you have bought the mobile today (10-05-2007)then 120 days will be after 7th september. You need to send the bill showing that u connected for 120 days after 7th sept. That bill may be the 4th or even 5th bill but bill issued date must be on 7th or after 7th sept.hope it helps.0 -
Hi Riyazi, the situation regarding needing to be connected for 13 months is not clear and will very much depend upon your service provider.
I know from experience of using CNM that they're obviously struggling to make these payments and if there is any reason to default on a payment they will. I'm aware from reading some posts that when people have cancelled contracts with a month's notice they've not received a 12th bill and CNM will not accept a print off from website. So safest way is probably to stay connected for 13 months which means that cost of having phone (excluding call costs above monthly allowance) will be one month's rental, not 13 as would be the case without the cashback.0
