TPS Registered? So what!

TPS is basically the Totally Pointless Service, they don't enforce or take any actions other than stick you on yet another database to be bought and sold.

Unfortunatly the only way to vet calls is either never give your number out to anyone, use caller-id or use something like truecall.

I hate to imagine the number of unwanted calls we would have if we weren't on TPS. Whilst some slip through I would guess the majority of cold caller companies do take notice.

2. Check it's real - call it to make sure a human answers

3. Get online and search "PPI call me back"

4. Register their number on all the sites you can

5. Sit back, light your pipe

True. All reputable companies do check against TPS before cold calling.
