Hi all, trying to find somewhere to unlock an iPhone 4 on Orange. Have been told places can't do it and have also had a quote of £100!!!
Have found this website: http://www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk
They offer to do it for £19.99, with the IMEI number. I have googled reviews for the site and seems positive but I'm quite wary of it all! Has anyone used it?
TIA

Orange only took 6 days to unlock my iPhone 4. I'd recommend you try them first before a third party website.0

Previously I put in my imei and told the site is was a iPhone 4. It thought about ait and said it could be unlocked based on the IMEI.
Problem was the IMEI was from an old Motorola. Stay away from these type of sites.
Apple phones are locked by Apples servers, when you put in a new sim the phone check home to see if it should unlock. If it's not on the list it will not unlock.
The only way these companies can unlock the phone is to have a person working in the network who does them on the side, if the network ever audits their work you may find the unlock status reverts to locked.0
