I Tunes on one computer but not another

    Yeah, but it'll get very confused when the original source of it goes away. Home Sharing doesn't transfer the content such that it arrives as a first class citizen. For example, you can't homeshare from A->B and then shut down A and homeshare the same material from B->C. Yes, you can extract the content "behind the scenes" and re-inject it into the library, but if you could do that, you wouldn't be asking how to do it with a memory stick.

    I still think iTunes Match is the OP's solution. Once they've done that, the problem goes away for future computers as well.

    I don't - costs money! Moving your iTunes library is one of the easier things to do when you change computer, which doesn't happen very often, so it's definitely worth learning how to do it.
