I really cant be bothered to up date over 10 reviews which are already marked as premium ,if they were no good they should have locked them as well and sooner ,not let me carry on putting them on and still passing them .I,m not too good at typing ,I type with one finger due to rheumatoid arthritis .I left school at 15 ,i,m 67 ,lol .
    Thanks anyway.

Any review with more than 150 words is automatically marked as premium. Typically Dooyoo only lock a review when a member reports the review. Dooyoo do not read every single review, not by a long stretch, don't think that because a review is not locked that it won't become locked. Guides and long established members typically report reviews as they want Dooyoo to maintain a professional exterior, as it should, and continue to be a profitable company. When new members come along it can be frustrating to see people trying to make as much money as possible with no thought for the content or how it appears to advertisers who may be reviewing the website before posting content or allowing content.

Typing with one finger is irrelevant compared to using correct grammar and spelling. Last year I broke my wrist and cut my hand open in a very severe manner, meaning I only had one or two fingers to type with, and I had no problem at all. There are spell checking problems built into browsers, such as Google Chrome that can help improve your reviews.

Overall if you are continually writing reviews close to 150 words or that are poor to read you will find your reviews locked and possibly your account closed at some point.

I would also like to point out that I personally only report reviews when I know that the person is lying about their use of the product or when it is clear from reading a review that they never even used the item. I do not report based on grammar, spelling or word count unless there is excessive spamming such as 'asjajdalskjdklajs' or something similar.

My comments are my own but as is clear to see from the 1800+ reviews I have wrote on Dooyoo I have made quite a lot of money. I've done everything there from reading/rating all people, not rating at all, churning out 10+ reviews a day for weeks at a time and then just posting a review here and there. Feel free to ignore my advice but saying that they should have 'locked them as well and sooner' is just courting trouble and asking for certain members, who browse this, to have a read through of your reviews and check that they meet the Dooyoo writing requirements in full.

Also, I left school at 13, that is irrelevant to how you type/spell/use grammar, particularly in this day and age.

Sorry but I agree with katy kicker and the others who have said that I don't think you are right to blame dooyoo - it's a commercial site, they are only realistically going to pay for reviews which make them money. I don't think people report reviews that often for poor grammar/punctuation (unless they are pretty hard to understand) but if the overall impression is that your review is hard to read for a consumer they clearly are not going to pay, and sorry, but why should they?!

I've personally always found the team to be lenient and fair. They give people second chances because it's in their interest to have plenty of people writing on the site and clicking to ads etc... No one is out to "get" new members, they want new writers.

If you want your miles mail them - also with all due respect there are PLENTY of successful people on the site who have disabilities, English as a second language or who left school at 15, as well as lots of people with dyslexia. What they all have in common is they use strategies to succeed - so install google chrome to spell check, pm a guide to ask for help to improve your locked review - but saying it "stinks" because you don't like the fact that they have asked you to make your reviews of paying quality is a little unfair I'm afraid.

When you start on dooyoo it's a learning curve but many people start badly and go on to do really well, if you "can't be bothered" and just thought it would be quick and easy money then sorry but it's probably not for you?

I've read some terrible reviews on Dooyoo. I haven't reported any (I didn't actually know you could do that), I just don't rate them. I fear giving bad ratings in case the writer takes offence and rates me badly or reports one of mine out of spite!

Finally made it over 20000 and now have printed off the list of level one products. It looks like I need to get reviewing my huge stash of Clinique :)

The actual rate you give to anyone's review is anonymous. Revenge-rating, before Doyoo made ratings anonymous was (still is) very seriously frowned upon. The only way anyone can possibly know what rating you've given is if you're the very first person to rate a review, and even then, the author would have to see your rate before anyone else has rated the same review after you.

True, but it's usually when I'm in the Newest Review section that I've read the awful ones and I would be the first to rate.

Never be afraid to rate reviews that you read honestly, as that helps keep the site up to a high standard of writing. If you are the first person to rate someone's not so good review and you down-rated it, if they notice that you're the first (and they might not), and if they thus try to revenge-rate you, you'd still get paid the same as we on Dooyoo are paid per view rather than per rate (I think so anyway - maybe Azana or Katykicker or someone would like to confirm that for me?)

I'm just chicken! I could wait until a few others had rated it first I suppose.

I have just raided my dressing table, make-up back and bathroom cabinet and have a whole bag full of level one things to review (Clinique and perfumes)! Not going to have time now as I have to go to a wedding reception this evening, but maybe tomorrow. In the meantime I have posted up a review of the Edinburgh marathon that I wrote during the week.

Yes if you feel uncomfortable, you could always do that. Have a good time at the wedding and never mind, you'll be reviewing all your Clinique stuff and perfumes before you know it. Save some for the future though so that you don't run out of stuff to review
