One tip which will help:

end each clause with a comma immediately after the last word,
then press the space bar and continue with the next part of the sentence.

Likewise, press the spacebar after each full stop and then start the next sentence.

Writing in Word, or similiar, with the grammar check as well as the spell check on might also stop the locking.

Can't believe I didn't join sooner... I have been on for about an hour or so and have seen SO MANY things that I own and could review!
