Hiya, finally getting back in to things lately, have had lots of injuries and illnesses in the last year that've kept me off my old form! I have currently just got over slicing my hand open quite badly so only now am I able to type again.
Let me speak from experience, I've had a load of trouble in the past, been told off for speed rating once, had a couple of reviews locked, had rows with members, I feel that the ultimate outcome is that it just isn't worth the time arguing with people. Any rule breaking I done was unintentional but I'm a stickler for the rules now! Not worth losing my nice income! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Wow Katy... you know you're addicted when you declare it to the tax man. Did you actually pay tax on it? Intense. Impressive earnings as well.0

Dooyoo is a small portion of my earnings online. I work part-time in addition to Dooyoo, Ciao etc. As well as that I also do some writing for a content writer/SEO worker and that definitely pays me the bulk of my online earnings.
I do pay tax, not a huge deal as my total earnings are about 15k including my part-time job but I'm very happy with my lifestyle particularly as my husband does so well in his full-time job. My money is just pin money really but it all adds up!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The main reason that I looked in to paying tax on everything was when I had problems with a particular member on Dooyoo/Ciao who found my home address and other things. Figured it wasn't worth me getting in trouble when I was earning so much and it probably wouldn't have been overlooked.
I must say that the person did me a favour really as now I'm all the more motivated and I have lots of ways I earn money online to add to my little files and spreadsheets. Worked out well for me really! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I doubt I earn £190 a week (the person allowance threshold before tax), even so, it's good to be informed. SEO writing sounds great though - hope it pays well for you.
I didn't even notice the block button... I've had some 'odd' messages on DY but never anything abusive, thankfully. You learn something new everyday...0 -
Alrighty, I have a technical question. I've read the site rules (naturally!) and I notice they put a lot of emphasis on not just clicking onto a review and rating it without giving it a proper read. This concerned me a little, as I read very quickly. So I timed myself, and on a review just over 1000 words, it took me 64 seconds to read. I get the feeling this wouldn't pass their checks, but I also feel like I'm being dishonest by lingering on the page for longer to pass a check =S Does anyone have a rough idea of what I should be doing to avoid getting into any bother?DooYou ~ 11/3/13

I had the same problem. I read so fast I polished off the Ice and Fire books up to Dance with Dragons in five days and those things are huge. So with dooyoo I have to conciously slow down a lot.0
