I hadn't thought to do that, but it does make sense. I tend to find I get about the same number of rates for every review - there are a few people who consistently rate my reviews, and the rest are made up of people I see occasionally and ones who are new to me. I just tend to return all rates and then look around for new reviews that I'm interested in. I hadn't thought about checking for folk who consistently don't return rates, but I suppose it does make sense to weed them out

Hi there - could someone explain how the whole crown things works? Is it just recent reviews that get crowned? I ask because I've come across some really good older reviews (not ancient reviews but certainly older than a month) and I've wondered whether it is still worth nominating them.

I have just started today, my review got a somewhat useful. Do I get more points if I can get my reviews to very useful?

Dont worry, my first reviews got Somewhat useful and Useful. To get it Very useful you just need to go into more detail, perhaps start with a bit of a backstory (your reason for buying the product) and also some details about the product.

For example - if you were reviewing a television for detail you'd say the picture quality (like it's 1080 HD) and give some of the features like it has on-demand, catch up... etc.

If you are struggling to know what to write look over other people's reviews that have been popular and you'll soon know how it works. Everyone on there is very friendly so if you have any questions, then they will be able to help you. what is your username?

Maybe 10-15 reviews in the last two months or so.

Overall almost 2000 reviews though I will be sure to have a look over the next day or two Added you anyway so I don't forget!
