The more reads and rates you give out, the more you are likely to receive them back. And it's a nice, community-spirited thing to do :)

Thanks, just think I've spotted you on Dooyoo (well, I presume its you if your username on here is the same :o)

I will rate some more reviews, do Dooyoo mind if you review lots of reviews I dont want to be doing something against the rules by rating lots.

Sorry to post again, just seen in your signature you have made £155 on Dooyoo this year, wow! Well done, I was hoping for 20 or 30 quid by Christmas... maybe this better than I thought:p

    Hi!

    Yes, it's me :)

Make sure that you read the reviews and spend time on each one, several minutes at least.

I initially raced through - simply clicked a rate then went to the next review and clicked again. ie I rated about 10 reviews in three minutes! I was unaware of the rules, and got a warning from Dooyoo.
Your biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.

I haven't recieved anything from Dooyoo, I am reading them in full... mostly, some of them are pretty long though :o But I know what you mean, I am spending time on each review. Oh also how do I add you to the trust list?
  • Hey Oliverr, welcome to dooyoo addictiveness :rotfl:

I see you have found me already, been a bit absent this week on DY so playing catch up atm.

To add someone to your circle of friends there is a link underneath the persons avatar on there profile page. It reads 'add to your circle of friends'

The best piece of advice I read on this thread when I started out is read and rate as much as possible to build up the friendship between you and other users. It's a community thing and friendly and also you can learn about new products and stuff via the reviews. Also regularly click to check on the new reviews section to read and rate as well. As long as you take long enough to read the reviews and don't speed through them, but looks like you are doing okay atm

PS, don't worry about all the questions, this is what this thread is for :)

The problem I have with reading so many reviews is that I keep wanting to buy the stuff I'm reading about! Except computer games and yankee candles. I have no desire to buy those. However my knowledge of such things has increased hundredfold!

Thank you :T I get the idea that its a community sort of thing now and I have over 3,000 Dooyoo points now so I am happy. I like writing reviews anyway, you should see me on Tripadvisor, I can have a good old moan when I want to (and also compliment businesses as well, of course :rotfl:)

That's true, especially as we're re doing some rooms at home at the moment... thanks for reminidng me on the Yankee candles, I brought a couple of bargain ones at the garden centre the other week... 31p each :D
  • This week I have managed to complete 6 reviews in 7 days as I had a week off work with no plans apart from DIY around the house! I have conducted a little expirment and my "Miles per review" have gone from being about 1500 to 1250.
I don't have time to do so many reviews as last week but just shows that if I spend time reading and rating that I end up earning more per review.

Glad I can help with the improvement on video game knowledge ;) :rotfl:
