Won't that just ban the compers though?0 -

Total Merchandise Guys, please listen. The facts are that FB have banned, for reasons it seems only they know, a number of users. About 180 at least dropped from our page overnight. We are sure that some genuine accounts have been dropped, and also a lot (hopefully) of fakes (and as we say, we are sure there have been a number of fake accounts over the weeks/months/years). But at the end of the day, FB did this, not us. If YOU feel you've been unfairly dropped then please contact Facebook. One user has already posted on here what happens when they try to log in (i.e. the FB message stating they believe their account may be fake) and there's plenty more on forums about fake accounts and fake 'likes' being targetted, i.e.: http://www.socialbakers.com/blog/889-facebook-fake-likes-purges-begin-pages-losing-100k-fans-in-24hours
What surprises us is those of you who really feel we shouldn't like the fact fakes are being targetted. Do you like entering a comp once, only for others to maybe enter it 5 times with pseudonym accounts? Or do you like visiting FB pages only to find somebody spamming it with posts about 'wonder weight loss drugs'? No, exactly.
If you read our post, it stated that a number of accounts identified as being fake by FB have been removed. We are not saying innocents haven't been hit. We're not saying we think innocents being hit is fair. But please take your complaints about the process of how/why etc users were targetted with FB. Truth is, none of us totally know the reasoning behind all of this, and if genuine users have been removed then that's obviously bad news for us too (we don't like seeing our fans drop, obviously).
Also, for info, we run all our comps via 3rd party apps. We actually pay for licences for these apps. FB insist apps should be the manner to run comps, i.e. not on the wall or pages. We stick to the rules, but many other companys don't. Our app comps all have links to our T&C's, and sometimes have a link to share. As does every post you make on Facebook.Facebook Fake “Likes” Purges Begin – Pages losing 100K Fans in 24hours
www.socialbakers.comNo more spammers and distorted engagement. Facebook is doing a great thing by eliminating those that fail to legitimize themselves.:j:j:j Good Luck :j:j :j0 -

Total Merchandise If any genuine accounts have been hit (i.e. fans of ours) and if FB require any proof that those accounts are genuine...feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to confirm you have entered comps/interacted etc if it helps you have your accounts reinstated. Not saying that'd be any help but in fairness, I'd be a bit cheesed off as well if my account was removed so we do take your point but remember...our intentions are to support our real fans. Not the little so-and-sos who bombard our wall every weekend with spam.

How would we do it, via the Report Page option, under the top Message box?0 -

does TM know that some are supposed to email personal docs to them?
they are sending them.
and still are not allowed on?
so even when given proof (which I refuse to do btw)
they still think your account is fake.
it seems nigh on impossible to verify so kind of a catch 22
still not tried to log in am hoping it will right itself soon
for others that said about ip addy
my two (grown up) kids are home at the moment and neither has been affected by FB.
for others that said MSE in name maybe the problem, no never had MSE in my name.63 mortgage payments to go.
