    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I personally think that this will be over in a few days i have 2 FB accounts my own that i haven't had any problems with and a second one i use for comping that i have had to verify via text twice in the last 2 days, but i have just stopped all FB comps for the time being and everything seems fine, i will try and enter some in a few days as i think that things will have calmed down.

Just tried to warn a page got blocked from commenting on their page,

Didnt stop me tagging them in a status though :rotfl:

Also added i hope they lose their page

but it seems it doesnt matter as 20 more of my friends went to like the page and entered

    Haha ^

Is there a report page function that if that happens where a co gets arsey for people commenting that we could report the page for running a comp against fb rules?

I just tried logging in to my personal account (I know, naughty me lol), which I never enter any competitions from. All that is on there are pics of my 3 girls, friends, and random status updates.
    Guess what...

    BLOCKED!
    !!!!!!, really taking the p**s now :mad::mad:
Really will not be impressed if I lose that account.
Not going to bother verifying who I am on it yet, I'll just end up with another 30 day ban. I'll leave it on suspension til this (hopefully) blows over.
Although I am dying to see if one of my friends has gone into labour yet. Grrr.
    Comping since Feb 2012.

Are they ip matching all accounts from the same place then? Do many of the people affected have more than one account?

Perhaps they are getting people from the same isps if they are doing blanket ip bans? I remember a company accidentally blocking all BT customers by doing this

A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!

I wonder if this ban is big enough to get this hashtag trending

That's actually a brilliant idea. If you can get enough people to use a specific #hashtag for this and complain on twitter it should trend and people definitely pick up on what's trending.

    I don't think that's it.
My boyfriend hasn't had a ban at all and he uses the same laptop as me.

They can't block from ip address they really would lose people then as many families just like mine have different accounts my wife my son, me and then all the family members that come round our house with laptops phones ect all logging into FB at the same time

  • Facebook are linking accounts through your ip ... if you / other members of your family have accounts from the same ip .. then their program will link them all and all accounts will need verification .. so for all of you making new facebook accounts through the same ip as your last account .. expect it to linked to your old one and blocked just the same
