Are these pictures ones that have been liked and shared? Are they one's you've shared or ones that your friends have shared?

Ive not been unfortunate to have my FB account blocked, yet, but would like to be prepared if it does happen.

Ive had same, luckily mine was another account I set up just for comping, so Ive just created another - on this one Ive only added myself and my partner as I can only assume one of my 'frineds' reported me for the constant comp links or something. Only issue is all the comps I entered through that one I cant see If Ive won now

Possibly, but I seriously doubt it. Most compers are friendly and, as long as you only have one account, there's no problems!

For Facebook to act on ANY report, a minimum number of people need to report it. That goes for anything, spam, these fake Apple comps, even disgusting pictures.

Right, first question: to everyone who has had this, do you all do Like & Share competitions?

Isn't it strange how this blog comes about then all of a sudden people are being blocked left, right and centre?

What Di failed to mention is when you report a post on Facebook as spam or scam - you are reporting the person who is sharing it. To report the company, you have to click through the link (so it takes you to the companies original post) and THEN click report as spam / scam whatever it is.

It's all well and good to have it written in a popular blog, such as Di's, that you should report every single like & share post - but you are actually reporting your Facebook friends for sharing it - so after so many have reported those same people, Facebook think "Hang on a mo., we have a fake account!" - and then people fail to confirm friends because they actually have no idea who they added 10 minutes ago with a duck as a profile picture or the cat they added last year!

Simple solution - stop doing Like & share competitions - and only add people you know. Obviously, I have friends who are compers, but they are people who (1) I've met or (2) They've been on my friends list since I started comping 2 years ago so I know their picture - real photo picture by the way

I dont do like and share comps only the app type ones and i had my account 'security checked' so dont think it would be due to this. Could it be due to the number of companies I have 'liked'

OMG got back on, not sure how I managed, just guessed the pics, then I had to verify by phone text code

I have now taken out the Mse part in my name, and put in an initial E I hope my friends will still recognise me, I will also put a proper pic up rather than DLRP castle

I had this about four times last week. asked me to enter the code that they texted me. I did this and just stopped doing facebook comps for a while. Seems ok now. Whats the point in having facebook comps if you cant enter them.:(

Just a quickie, if you had to do the photos as a security Q, can I ask if you have a mobile linked to your account please?

Otherwise, I would suggest that anyone who does not have one, add a mobile to your account, but limit the privacy to just you - then if it happens again you may just have to enter the text they send, hth, xxx
