This sort of behaviour by any company should not be tolerated.
Hear Hear !!
It's a disgrace.
I got blocked this morning and had to verify by text to mobile to get back in and 'touch wood' still OK!
Didn't need to do anything with photo's
Yes I am on Winners Circle and yes I do (did!) Like and Share comps.
For those people creating new facebook accounts - I wish you luck but there is no saying they won't get blocked as well.
If you google
'facebook asking for government id'
you will find a lot of comments around the end of Jan 2013 on this. Here is one for starters.

Frankly, I don't want them to raise another penny of advertising revenue, and whilst the actions of one person may appear futile in a network of over 1 billion users, my moral standing comes first.
I do also approve of your pic. I might nick it and pass it off as my own.0 -
I got a 30 day ban yesterday and had one in december which was right in the middle of the advents so was not happy.
If you have the 30 day ban there is no reason what so ever that facebook will lift it for thats what it says I looked it up in December. I can't send messages, comment on anything, like new pages or except friend requests all I can do is make new status's that's it. But if you find a way around any of that your doing well.
Just wish there was somewhere else that all us compers could go and comp without any of this hassle and then that would cut down fb by thousands and I wonder if they would like that not having the same volume of people and not looking as popular anymore. Thanks all the posters xxxx Be lucky xxxx0 -

30 days for me too!!!
Not really sure why?
I do like and share comps but there are far more people who are more prolific than me with them who are still live!
I wouldnt mind but ive clearly verified 5 times the past 24 hours???
Obviously I am not clearly me and am probably a robot or a figment of my own imagination..............
Which means none of you are real either!!!!!
OH DearFingers Crossed for the big one in 20150 -
Well I decided to create a new account, used a different variation of my name, didn't put where I was from or anything like that. Added 2 friends and posted a few status updates. It was fine for about 3 hours and I just went to use it and its blocked the account. I think its time to say goodbye to Facebook.
And if this keeps up I don't think companies will be using them for competitions either (which, it seems, is what Facebook want's any ways) If everyone that enters a competition is not around on Facebook to share their pictures or whatever then there will be no advertising for these companies and that doesn't make any business sense. So hopefully they will all flock to twitter to run the competitions or run them from their websites.
From a personally point of view, I'm not too bothered. I can count on one hand the amount of things I won from Facebook competitions. I have a lot more success on Twitter. The thing that makes me angry though is the way Facebook have handled this.MSE Comping Since August 20110
