30 Reasons Why It's Nice to be a Dog

    (1) No one expects you to take a bath every day.
    (2) Your friends never expect you to pay for lunch, dinner, or anything else for that matter.
    (3) When it's raining, you can lie around the house all day and never worry about being fired.
    (4) If it itches, you can reach it.
    (5) And, no matter what itches, no one is offended if you scratch it in public.
    (6) It doesn't bother you if your favourite television show is a rerun.
    (7) You can wear a fur coat and no one thinks you're insensitive.
    (8) April 1st means nothing to you.
    (9) People at drive-through windows never charge you for treats.
    (10) Your friends don't think less of you for passing gas.
    (11) A rawhide bone can entertain you for hours.
    (12) No one gets mad if you fall asleep while they're talking.
    (13) As an adult, it's okay if you haven't amounted to anything.
    (14) The older you get, the more people respect you.
    (15) You can sleep late every day.
    (16) If you grow hair in weird places, no one notices.
    (17) You never get in trouble for putting your head in a stranger's lap
    (18) There's no such thing as bad food.
    (19) You don't have to worry about good table manners.
    (20) Someone else combs your hair.
    (21) People think you're normal if you stick your head out the window to feel the wind in your hair.
    (22) You're always excited to see the same old people.
    (23) Having big feet is considered an asset.
    (24) If you gain weight, it's someone else's fault.
    (25) Everything smells good to you.
    (26) A garbage can is a fast-food stop.
    (27) No one tells you to wipe your nose because it's wet.
    (28) No matter where you live, you own the place.
    (29) Your mate never complains because you whine.
    (30) Puppy love can last.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

The teenage equivalent of 'no one EVER listens to me in this house'. Well, I tried to warn them :p

Not even a remote chance in Hell! :D

Btw marisco...I've printed that out and stuck it on the front of his crate. :D

His crate is his den, the door never gets shut. It's big and is covered with an duvet (duvet cover matches the living room decor :o) and has a comfy mattress, a duvet and pillow and his toys in it, it's like a cave and he loves it. Des res for dogs. :rotfl:

You were suggesting that your dog may be sensing you are ill . Well, I really hope you're not but you said your boob was swollen , you're not breastfeeding are you ? If one of my boobs was swollen I'd be going to the doctor just to have them checked out .

He seems to be fine, he's not doing anything untoward, still eating/sleeping/poo-ing like he always does. No itchy ears, sore paws, hard tum etc etc. Nowt.

He was at the vet 3 weeks ago to get his paw looked at, all fine.

This may or may not have anything to do with anything but late last night I had a very sore boob.:o it was the kind of sore boob you get when you breastfeed and are late feeding so the milk builds up and your boob feels like it's swollen to twice it's usual size. Iyswim. I actually took some tablets and went to bed because of it. No idea what that was all about, I haven't had it before and it seems ok today, a little tender but not sore as such.

Now this may have had absolutely nothing to do with anything, I'm not actually saying he was picking up on something to do with this, I'm just wondering if it was a possible.

Other than a sore boob (sorry for sharing that :rotfl:) and the fact I made weird noises with a guitar, nothing was different for him.

Just one of those weird days I guess, he's back to ignoring me this morning and is in his bed again, which is where he is usually at this time. All is well. :D

its entirely possible he picked up on the sore boob! and that you aren't worried about it so he has decided that its ok!

alias - if the tenderness doesn't clear up its worth mentioning to the GP or a practice nurse. Boobs shouldn't get sore like that for no reason. it may well be a simple cyst - yet a dog CAN pick up on this.
lol - don't go into the surgery and say 'Dr, my dog thinks I am not well...........'!!!!!!!! (sorry, sometimes my sense of humour takes me into visualisations which make ME giggle).

I hope you don't mind but I've put this on facebook, it did make me giggle.

Mind you, being single no one cares if I grow hair in strange places either!
