No, I agree. Moving to Talk Talk will give no significant speed benefit.

I suspect the advisor you spoke to was misinformed. That, or trying to get a sale. Or, you misheard them saying "you'll get up to 8Mb".

If all the facts point to you getting between 1 and 3Mb, I'd assume that is what you'll get.

I queried the speed and said are you sure I'll get 8MB as nobody else is offering more than 3MB. She said they were the only company who had the new technology to offer 8MB in my area. I suspect I've been told porkies!

Rang Sky and told them what Talk Talk were offering and they offered me half price line rental for a year to stay with them, so I'll stay with them instead :money:
