    You could have a look on Asus Fonepad. It will release some time in apr.
    If you want it right now, samsung tab 2 7"
    However, I think most tablet take up to 32GB micro sd

    samsung galaxy 7.7 (GT-P6810) has the best screen on any tablet period,its oled, it will also take a 64gig sd card and will act as a usb host with the right adaptor but it has slightly older internals.

    You will also pay £100 more than the usual 7" tablets but IMHO its worth it.

    Alternative to the external micro sd storage can be the personal cloud storage like Western Digital My Live 2 TB circa £110 .Just plugs into your router to give house wide access via any WiFi device .
    2 Terra byte rather bigger than SD card maximum of 64GB .
