What about people who are using Mac? They won't be able to use IE unless they install Windows.

Always had a problem logging into vodafone, I did complain and they closed my online account and set up a new one. They said they needed to make a change to my account, did this through online chat went to 2nd tier support. Now works.

I had this problem / solution a while ago: they said my profile was corrupted and the only way to fix it was to delete the profile and start again from scratch. It did work for a while, but, as I'm now having problems again, it clearly wasn't a permanent solution.

I hope the same isn't true for you!

Mac households are, presumably, not a demographic businesses care about: after all, it's not as though the affluent middle classes who are willing to pay over the odds for computers have any money or are in any way amenable to marketing, and therefore companies can safely ignore them.

ETA: and, fortunately, iPads and other tablets have been a total disaster, with no-one buying these pointless devices, and therefore companies whose websites don't work with will see no problems. That goes particularly for mobile phone companies, because in the tablet/phone space Windows is famously dominant, and no-one is using either Android or iOS in preference to the mighty market share of Windows Mobile (etc).

I use Chrome but have never experienced any problems with their website. The fact that they've changed my marketing preferences despite my not asking them to and now they spam me with texts that I can't seem to stop is another thing altogether... :D
