This is some of the BS in the reply from Amazon:
"I sincerely apologise for the further upset caused by the delivery estimate change. We are looking into why the next day delivery was handed to a carrier that could not fulfill this requirement. For internal reasons, we can't disclose the outcome of any investigation, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your vigilance and for highlighting this."
Followed by the usual brush-off and no offer of credits or vouchers as a goodwill gesture unlike other major retailers!!
As I have had problems with next day deliveries in the past I am now going to close my Amazon account.0
