Broadband using a dongle

you are missing my point, the ones I'm using are stand alone data sims, pay £10, get a sim that is valid for the earlier of one month or 1gb from the time you start using it.
When it runs out, you buy another one. No ongoing contract involved.
Buy it, use it, throw it away and buy another one. Each one you buy will cost you £10 but attract £12.50 cashback hence my statement that 3 are giving me free broadband and a £2.50 contribution to my beer fund for every month/gb I use their service
Perhaps it's my misunderstanding that they wouldn't pay the same customer cashback on each SIM time and again.
Does this actually work or is it just a theory?0 -
No I shouldn't, your deal is ok for your needs, no use to me.
Mine was for a one off use.
I've now got an unlocked dongle (unlock =£0) if I should ever need one, and £18 in my pocket.
Having a USB modem at hand is good, but having a 'MiFi' unit is better...especially at just £12.
Mind you, I already have at least five USB modems lying around. Still useful for when travelling abroad in countries that may use a non standard frequency when utilising HSPA.0 -
Vodafone used to do a true PAYG dongle (I have one) - credit is valid until used, but I don't think this is offered now.
Hi all,
It's just a quick post to clarify that if you purchase our PAYG dongle the initial 500MB is currently valid for up to sixty days.
Any additional Top ups afterwards are currently valid for up to thirty days.
Thanks,
Lee

I've just received my 4th SIM, all 4 have tracked on quidco.0 -

if you are going the cashback route get the 1 month version rather than the three month as they both attract the same £12.50 cashback (via quidco)0 -

The first one (from mid Jan) has already has, assuming the same time lag the next one should be confirmed & paid in about 3 weeks, I'll post the result (if I remember)0
