Exactly, I have not got the cash available to declare myself bankrupt and I have no assets at all so the only way to end this situation is for the creditors to make me bankrupt which they won't do until the house is sold and they have a final figure that we owe. I wish they would bankrupt me though as then at least I know that this whole mess would be over sooner. I am a lot calmer definitely and go with the flow a lot more, I don't make any plans at all and just live day to day really. I have no idea what the future holds for me and I know I am not alone as there are countless other people in the same boat as me unfortunately. I am glad I made the choice to just move out and start afresh so to speak as I see other people tied to mortgages for house that cost well over £300,000 and are only selling now for £90,000. How those people live day to day is beyond me and I really feel for them as they must be completely torn and drained mentally. To sit in a house and struggle to make ends meet and for what really? Pride/shame/ego? Who knows but I know I did the right thing for me and that's all I could do. I am young enough to get on with my life and yes it is very difficult seeing what I lost and what I still owe and it troubles me at times but most of the time I block it out and get on with my daily life as best I can. Thanks for the support0
