Ah yes, I see. Least attractive because....? As I say, it's used only (well, mainly) for Scrabble. So flashg67's suggestion is preferable?0

By giving just model number, that then requires people to search out the TV and look for the connections.
As for AV, 99% pretty sure that won't be scart, but composite AV ( red & white, use the yellow from the component). PS1 cable will use the red, white and yellow. So just plug those in and select the correct input in order to view the ps1.
Same for freesat, plug in via hdmi and select correct input to view.
So only thing needed to tune is the TV freeviewMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
I think we got there in the end. Freesat connects via HDMI
PS1 connect via either (best quality first)
SCART
Yellow, red, white phono
RF cable (aerial input).
The first two will be found by cycling through the different TV inputs.
The third one (please change it to something else if so, especially for something resolution dependent like Scrabble!), will require having the PS1 switched on and doing an ANALOGUE tune. This should be pretty quick since there aren't any analogue stations transmitting any more...0 -
Quick update - I sent for one of these for her http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scart-Cable-Playstation-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00BBE4G5Y/ref=sr_1_16?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363992658&sr=1-16
She's delighted - just plugged it in to the ps1 and the scart socket, and she's now Scrabbling away happily!! Thank you all for your advice
