Impressed at Santander's efficiency.
In one elapsed week:
1. Opened a 123 Current Account and 123 Credit Card separately online via Quidco
2. Received "Welcome Pack"
3. Received both cards and pins
4. Received chequebook
5. Set up credit card direct debit to 123 Current Account
6. Completed manual transfer of 4 out of 5 qualifying direct debits
7. Set up 123 current account funding from payroll
8. Set up standing order to send excess to main account
9. Both applications are tracking but with zero amounts
10. Already used credit card
Just waiting for:
1. 123 credit card fee rebate then I can move the repayment direct debit.
2. Council Tax direct debit to move - slow as paper based.
3. Not holding my breath for Quidco cashback
I was surprised how quickly the credit card appeared in my account - matter of hours on a Saturday

No doubt PMDUK will be on in a minute to slate them for some rubbish reason... I think their service has improved.0

Interesting to note that T/C have changed for the 123 acc. You used to have to use their transfer service.
Which I can say worked with no issues.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
I always do the DD transfer myself, if I can. Normally only takes about 30 minutes of my time. I value my credit rating highly and so am very careful to ensure nothing goes wrong (e.g. transfer each DD a day or two after last payment). If I have to use a transfer service, they tend to find that I've already transferred the important ones before they even start.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

When? I opened mine the week it was announced and I never used their transfer service.
Like Gizmo247, I prefer to do the transfers myself since it's faster and less hassle overall.0 -
I thought it was there when I did mine at the end of jan.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0

May be they did introduce it at some stage. Then found application rates dropped like a stone, and lifted the restriction, lol.0

Who knows...
Anyone use the alerts service and got it working. Mine don't seem to be coming through.
Got a std reply saying maybe phone provider blocking them. but one time codes get through.
Emails are the ygoing to spam/junk folder. Well that gets checked everyday and cleared by me, so thats a no then.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
I've used the alerts on my Zero cards before which seems to work find via email or text but the texts seem to arrive much later, around 12 hours late, by which time they have lost their relevance.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

I am using SMS alerts - working fine. Sometime during the day I dropped below my threshold, I get a text. Usually before 11am. Then, if I spend even more before topping up my account again, I get messages instantly.
I am on O2.0 -
Got the email today saying my application is with the underwriters. Hopefully it goes through okay.0
