Just caught up with your diary SA. I think if Mr SA was the type to check up on you before his illness then I don’t think he’ll change now. The main thing is to make sure you have an ‘outside’ life of your own from time to time and don’t let his tantrums grind you down. Hiding the fact that you want a day out to yourself is not good. And it was only a shopping trip as well! Still I know it’s easy for me to talk as I’m not living with him! And of course his own life has been curtailed so he focuses even more on you.
Anyway enjoy putting your feet up tonight with the Prosecco and pizza!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The pizza was lovely, all gone now, the Prosecco continues to be lovely, plenty left at the moment
Mr SA has just informed me he needs a pair of bootee slippers. If he gets them, this will be the third pair of slippers he's had since November (the first pair he managed to rip within a day!). He said if I can't be bothered to get him some he'll go in town on his own and get them. He's had about £100 spent on him today which I could've done without spending really, and he's still not satisfiedIt's never ending.

Make him go by himself and get them SA, that will test how badly he wants them

It was 4 years ago today Mr SA first got the all clear. It's gone by so fast! He had a frightening moment this morning when he woke up confused and didn't know where he was. He was worried he'd had a seizure as he said his mind was completely blank and he couldn't think at all. This isn't unusual for him to be honest so I'm not particularly concerned about a seizure, I think it's the brain damage, he's got a considerable part of his brain missing where the tumour was and this is why he has a shunt to stop fluid collecting in the space and causing seizures.
Hope everyone has had a good day so far.
Off to finish that to do list now!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
